Engineers Week Proclamation Ceremonies

Each year during Engineers Week, the Hawaii Council of Engineering Societies (HCES) organizes seperate proclamation ceremonies with the State of Hawaii Governor and City and County of Honolulu Mayor. The Governor's proclamation ceremony is held a the State Capital 5th floor Ceremony Room. The Mayor's proclamation ceremony is held in the Mayor's office at Honolulu Hale.

The proclamations recognize the contributions engineers provide to the local community and the Hawaii Council of Engineers efforts to encourage local students to enter the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The proclamations proclaim the week as "Engineers Week" in Hawaii.
